NTERN POSITIONS
An excellent opportunity for young adult(s) who love the outdoors, this internship is located in the heart of North Florida. You will be living and working at a premier Christian Camp & Conference Center in an area recognized as having the greatest concentration of fresh water springs in the world. This internship offers opportunities to assist with planning, implementing and supporting river trips, educational hikes and a variety of other indoor programs.
Two positions are available—for two
individuals, or for a married couple. The internship can be
for 12 months, or for as few as four months.
The intern position at Camp Weed and the Cerveny Conference Center is usually a 12 month position but can be shorter, with a modest salary, private lodging, private bathroom and meals provided. The intern will report to the Director of Operations and supervised by administrative staff. The main responsibility for the intern will be, but not limited to, hosting groups while they are at Camp Weed and the Cerveny Conference Center and assisting with planning and implementing a variety of programs and registrations for both indoor and outdoor events. Other duties will be assigned as needed, most are included within the General Responsibility category. These duties are designed to give an intern the “hands-on” experience in every aspect of camp & conference center work with the hope that in the future they will consider a career in this field.

Interim Director - St.Crispin’s Camp and Conference Center – Oklahoma
The Episcopal Diocese of Oklahoma seeks an Interim Director for St. Crispin’s Camp and Conference Center as we work through a time of transition. We welcome passionate, energetic and committed applicants, preferably with previous directing experience to partner with the St. Crispin’s Board and the Diocese to make St. Crispin’s the premiere Camp and Conference Center experience in the Great Plains region. The interim position is expected to last 12 to 18 months, and the interim director could also be considered for the Director position. St. Crispin’s is located on 450 acres of beautiful wooded grounds with two lakes in Wewoka Oklahoma, approximately 60 miles east of Oklahoma City. INTERN STAFF POSITION
Camp Stevens has positions open for a residential camp and retreat center internship program. This is a unique opportunity for energetic and creative people who enjoy learning, growing and contributing to the whole camp operation. This operation includes socially conscious camp programs, physical property maintenance and intentional community living. Interns will serve a year living and working on this beautiful site just north of the mountain town of Julian, California (65 miles northeast of San Diego).
Job responsibilities: The staff will work as a team to maintain and support the physical site and food services operations, facilitate the environmental education and team building/high ropes course programs as well as lead program and host for weekend retreat groups.
About 10% of the time will be spent on training and community development. About 30% of the time will be spent facilitating programs and retreat groups. About 60% of the time will be spent learning and performing site maintenance which includes cooking, cleaning, dishwashing, organic gardening, wood chipping and splitting, trail work, and much more. Summer Camp staff opportunities are also available to those participating in the internship program.

Waycross Camp and Conference Leadership Intern Program - Indiana
Waycross has positions open for a residential camp and conference internship program. This program is a unique opportunity to develop leadership skills and administrative experiences in youth camping, outdoor education and operation of a vibrant conference center. This program is well suited for creative and energetic people who enjoy experiential learning, contributing to intentional community living and a desire to learn more about the operation of center serving adults, children and young adults.
Job Responsibilities: Interns will be
providing key leadership in camp and conference programming as well
as develop administrative and operational skills related to a year
round camp and conference center. There are three different tracks
currently offered. One focuses on senior high leadership camp
programs, a second focuses on residential and trip camp programs,
and a third on volunteer and adult programming as well as marketing
and development activities.
All positions involve developing administrative and
operational skills.
Interns will work with Waycross Administrative staff and the Summer
Camp Director.
The intern staff works an average of 5 days
per week, except in the summer when all staff members work 6 days
per week.
