Summer Staff - Spend the summer at Lake Tahoe! - (June 13 – August 7 or later):

Camp Galilee is owned and operated by the Episcopal Diocese of Nevada. This position is a great summer adventure and your chance to make a real difference in the life of a child and your community. Qualified applicants will be emerging leaders who have a strong desire to positively contribute to the whole summer camp operation. The staff members are expected to be excellent role models for campers and counselors, fostering an appreciation for group development while having fun in the great outdoors. KANUGA, Hendersonville, NC

Camp Kanuga: Openings include Counselors, Junior Counselors, nurses, and senior staff. Work with boys and girls ages 7-15 in a traditional camp experience. Counselors live with campers in cabins and specialize in leading programs such as aquatics, canoeing, arts & crafts, climbing, archery, drama, music and campouts. Trailblazer Adventure – Camp Kanuga: backpacking instructors needed to lead 15 and 16 year-olds on two-week outdoor adventures. Applicants should have experience leading extended backpacking trips, WFR or WFA certification and knowledge of activities such as rock climbing and high ropes courses is required for lead staff. Camp Bob @ Kanuga: Enthusiastic, patient role models are needed to serve as counselors to disadvantaged youth from across the Southeast. Help this special group of campers improve their self-esteem by providing a positive growth experience. Counselors live with campers and lead activities including sports, hiking, climbing, swimming, arts and crafts, canoeing, archery and performing arts. Nurses are also needed.  Summer Staff - Kanuga Conference Center: Openings include wait staff, groundskeepers, nurses, EMTs, lifeguards, store clerks, chaplain’s assistant, youth program leaders and many more. Recreational programs are regularly scheduled for staff. Guests are primarily families and individuals from throughout the Southeast attending conference or vacation periods.
