"Nurturing Faith Formation at Episcopal Summer Camps"
September 27th - 30th at Procter Camp and Conference Center - London, Ohio
Join us for a weekend set apart for summer camp staff to learn, rejuvenate, create, inspire and rest in the company of their peers.
Come learn how you can foster faith formation by inspiring and caring for yourself and your staff through creative practices, suing our faith traditions in the new ways, using gardening as formation, using the Five Marks of Mission and the Bapistmal Covenant, and more!
This training is designed to enhance what you are already doing, and to help you and your staff be more intentional, confidenty, and effective in providing a scriptural experience for people of all ages.
We will:
- explore how food, gardening, and farming can be formative in the life of a child.
- delve into how your (and your staff's) personality type and spiritual gifts can play a key part in the camp experience.
- play, pray, and learn together as fellow camp staff taking time to discover what works best for you.
- invite participants to bring and experience unique ways of conveying the faith to their campers through music, video, games, prayers, etc.
