Male Cabin Staff -- Camp Weed Summer Camp, Live Oak, FL (Diocese of Florida)

Counselors are the primary caregivers for each camper. The counselor is responsible for planning, teaching, coordinating, and carrying out activities and guiding campers in their personal growth and daily living skills. Typically, counselors will live in a cabin with around 15 campers, one counselor-in-training, and one co-counselor. During the day you will lead activities such as kayaking, hiking, archery rock climbing, indoor games, and so much more! Lifeguard, Archery, and High Ropes certifications are all available to you during staff training. Housing and food are also included!

Job Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18
  • Must be available June 4 - July 29
  • Willingness to work in a close, Christian community
  • Ability to work with all age groups of children
  • Ability to properly supervise campers
  • Willingness to share faith with campers and other staff members
  • Willingness to have fun and praise God
