Guest Services Associate (Part-time) -- Kanuga (Hendersonville, NC)

Guest Services represents Kanuga to our guests and visitors and offers a high standard of hospitality. Selected candidates will work closely with other staff members to offer exceptional service and hospitality to external and internal customers and assist in meeting revenue and expense budgets, as well as accurate invoicing.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent and friendly customer service to our guests and other Kanuga departments
  • Coordinate meeting and worship spaces, social functions, refreshment breaks, transportation, and other needs with group coordinators and Kanuga staff prior to and during events.
  • Drive Kanuga-owned vehicles, including driving guests to designated locations, airport transportation, assist guests with luggage, and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
  • Set up and monitor audiovisual equipment in meeting spaces.
  • Follow North Carolina ABC laws and regulations while bartending events and complete inventory.
  • Serve as Kanuga’s representative. Answer the department cell phone. Be responsive to phone calls and emails.
  • Conduct facility tours for incoming or prospective groups.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Personable, enthusiastic, customer-oriented, and enjoy working with people
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency and complete work within deadlines
  • A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required
  • Organized, demonstrated ability to prioritize
  • Can work on weekends and holidays
  • Demonstrate maturity and a strong work ethic
  • Able to lift, push, pull, carry up to 50 pounds, and sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
