Professor John Clements, PhD retired from Tulane School of Medicine in 2018, after chairing the Department of Microbiology and Immunology since 1999, and was a faculty member for 35 years. He's done extensive work on vaccines and research around adjuvants: amplifying the body’s immune responses to a vaccine’s antigens.
